Environmental Protection and Natural Beauty: A Step Forward by the Minister of State for Forests and Environment
Jaipur : On Thursday, the Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge), Mr. Sanjay Sharma, emphasized the importance of environmental protection by planting saplings as part of the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan and Hariyalo Rajasthan Abhiyan in the Nagar Van of Alwar District.
Minister Sharma highlighted that the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of World Environment Day, is becoming a vital initiative for environmental conservation. He noted that the campaign plays a significant role in safeguarding the environment and enhancing the region’s natural beauty. The Minister urged that this is a public campaign in which everyone should participate by planting a tree in honor of their mother, contributing to environmental protection.
He also instructed the District Forest Officer (DFO) to focus on cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the trees planted in the Nagar Van. Additionally, he emphasized the need for developing the biological park in harmony with nature.
