Sports Minister Assesses Sports Infrastructure in Mualpui

Aizawl : Yesterday, Sports and Youth Services Minister Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar inspected various sports infrastructure facilities in Mualpui, Aizawl.

The Sports Minister expressed his desire to effectively utilize the diverse sports facilities in Mualpui, which are highly beneficial for the entire state of Mizoram. He emphasized the importance of the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, R. Dengthuama Hall, Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, MSSC Sports Hostel, and the open gym at R. Dengthuama Hall, along with other infrastructures, in promoting the growth of sports. He highlighted the need to maintain these facilities diligently to ensure progress in sports activities.

Minister Pu Henry C. Lalrawnkima, Secretary of the Mizoram State Sports Council (MSSC), along with members of the MSSC Land & Building Protection Committee, accompanied him during the visit. After inspecting the various sites, a meeting was held at the MSSC Sports Hostel. During the meeting, they discussed not only the infrastructure in Mualpui but also sports facilities across Mizoram. They reviewed ongoing projects and future plans to further enhance sports infrastructure throughout the state.
