CM Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 108 works worth Rs 192.60 crore in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today performed Bhoomi Pujan, foundation stone laying and inauguration of 108 development works worth Rs 192 crore 60 lakh in a program organized on the occasion of the launch of ‘Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan’ at Rajpur in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. He congratulated the people of the district for the development works. The development works include inauguration of 5 works worth Rs 97 lakh 57 thousand and Bhoomi Pujan of 103 works worth Rs 191 crore 63 lakh.
The Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan for the strengthening of the main roads passing through the district, construction of new building of Eklavya Adarsh Residential School at Navapara and Wadrafnagar of Rajpur, construction of new building of school and hostel, construction of additional rooms in hostel ashrams, renovation of water reservoirs, construction of Anganwadi buildings, upgradation of Balrampur Tameshwar Nagar airstrip.
The works for which the Chief Minister performed the Bhoomi Pujan include upgradation and strengthening of 16.60 km road up to Kusmi-Samari at the cost of Rs 33.10 crore, construction of new building of Eklavya Adarsh Residential School in Rajpur village Navapara at the cost of Rs 33.95 crore and in Wadrafnagar at the cost of Rs 28.96 crore, upgradation of 14 km road on Basantpur Ramnagar road at the cost of Rs 14.18 crore, Larangsay Chowk to Ring Road and Power House to Jai Stambh Chowk in Balrampur-Ramanujganj, strengthening of 5.825 km road from Bharat Mata Chowk to Rest House and Jai Stambh at the cost of Rs 3.81 crore, upgradation of 11.60 km road on Ambikapur Dhanwar-Varanasi road in the district at the cost of Rs 13.16 crore, Balrampur (Tameshwar Nagar) airstrip at the cost of Rs 4.07 crore The important works are the upgradation and improvement works of 4 km long Maharajganj-Pachawal road of Balrampur-Ramanujganj at the cost of Rs 2.16 crore.
Similarly, the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan for construction of Higher Secondary School building in Bariyon at the cost of Rs 1.21 crore, construction works of Neelkanthpur and Lurgikhurd Government Secondary School buildings at the cost of Rs 67 lakh each, 29 works of construction of additional rooms in hostels-ashrams at the cost of Rs 3 crore, construction work of 9 multipurpose centre buildings under PM Janman Yojana in PVTG settlements at the cost of Rs 60 lakh each. The bhumi pujan of one multi-purpose centre building to be built in Amakona village Pondikhurd of Shankargarh development block, Dhodhachopi gram panchayat Bhulsikhurd of Kusmi development block, Mahuatoli village Charhu, Khaspara village Pendardih, Bhutahi village Pundag, Rajuadhodhi village Pondikhurd, Patrapara village Bhondna, Jamhor and Dashni Korwapara village Khairdih of Shankargarh development block was done.
Similarly, the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan for construction of boys hostel in Dharanagar Higher Secondary School of Shankargarh at a cost of Rs. 2.75 crore, construction of 50-seater boys hostels in Samari and Bariyon Higher Secondary Schools at a cost of Rs. 1.86 crore each, construction of Badauli reservoir, Karwan reservoir, Murka reservoir, Jagima reservoir, Jhikki diversion scheme, Kharra reservoir, Srikot diversion scheme, Korandha reservoir, renovation of Uliya dam and canal and construction of Banki river diversion scheme at a cost of Rs. 39.01 crore. Banki river diversion scheme will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 16.41 crore. The Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of 41 new Anganwadi buildings in Samari Ramanujganj and Pratappur at a cost of Rs. 4.79 crore.
Inauguration of 5 works for strengthening health facilities
The Chief Minister inaugurated 5 works worth Rs 97 lakh for strengthening health facilities. These works include new sub health center building constructed in Hari of Kusmi development block at a cost of Rs 24 lakh, pediatric care unit constructed in District Hospital Balrampur at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, urban health and wellness center building constructed in village Budhutola of development block Ramanujganj at a cost of Rs 23 lakh, 10-bed additional ward constructed in Community Health Center Shankargarh at a cost of Rs 13 lakh and Mitanin Shelter constructed in District Hospital Balrampur at a cost of Rs 9 lakh.
On this occasion, Tribal Welfare Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Women and Child Development Minister and Minister in charge of the district Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLAs Shri Rajesh Agarwal, Shri Prabodh Minj, Smt. Uddeshwari Paikra, Smt. Shakuntala Porte were also present.
