Honorable Minister Senthil Balaji Addresses 24×7 Power Solutions in Tamil Nadu
Chennai : Honorable Minister V. Senthil Balaji announced today the introduction of a 24×7 e-consumer solution for electrical complaints in Tamil Nadu. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of addressing public grievances related to power supply.
Minister Balaji stated that a dedicated website will be established for the public to lodge complaints regarding power issues. This platform will also feature a feedback mechanism for addressing the concerns raised by the citizens of Tamil Nadu.
In efforts to resolve complaints efficiently, two technicians will be deployed at various locations to handle issues promptly. The Tamil Nadu Power Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) is committed to addressing the high volume of complaints, with over 28.6 million issues reported and resolved, accounting for an impressive 99.80% response rate.
Minister Balaji emphasized the importance of investigating each complaint thoroughly to ensure transparency and accountability. He warned that failure to adequately address issues would lead to frequent power outages, urging officials to act swiftly without delays.
As the North East Monsoon approaches, TANGEDCO is preparing to mitigate any disruptions that may arise. The Minister assured that the electricity distribution network will operate continuously, with personnel available around the clock.
Present at the announcement were officials from TANGEDCO, including Directors Mr. K. Nandakumar, Mr. Anish Wagar, and Mr. Vishu Mahajan, highlighting the commitment of the state government to improve power services for all citizens.
