Governor Shri Patel lays the foundation of Raj Bhavan temple reconstruction work
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel laid the foundation of the reconstruction work of Raj Bhavan temple on the occasion of Vijayadashami. He performed puja as per Vedic rituals on the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony. Governor Shri Patel sought information about the proposed project of temple renovation work.
Governor Shri Patel asked the construction agency to pay special attention to quality of work besides adherence to the deadline. Governor Shri Patel was told that the total cost of temple strengthening and renovation work is Rs 84 lakh 13 thousand one hundred. In this project, civil works worth Rs 76 lakh 96 thousand and electrical works worth Rs 7 lakh 16 thousand will be done. A total of 2700 square feet of temple hall, 1120 square feet of dining hall, and Bhandara room will be built. The kitchen will be constructed in 560 square feet.
On this occasion, Chief Engineer Public Works Shri Sanjay Maske, Officer on Special Duty to the Governor Shri Arvind Purohit, Controller Household Raj Bhavan Smt. Shilpi Diwakar, officials of the Civil, Electrical Branch and Construction Agency of the Public Works Department, other officers, and employees of Raj Bhavan were present.
