Mamit MLA Er H. Lalzirliana Hosts “Seminar on Cyber Crime” with MJA and Mizoram Police

Mamit : Today, the Mizoram Journalists’ Association (MJA) General Headquarters and the Mizoram Police organized a “Seminar on Cyber Crime” at the I&PR Hall in Mamit, hosted by Mamit MLA Er H. Lalzirliana.

During the seminar, Er H. Lalzirliana emphasized the significance of understanding cyber crime, particularly in the context of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. He stated that awareness of cyber crime is crucial, highlighting the need for public education to mitigate its impacts. Er Lalzirliana pointed out that the posts we share on social media should be approached with caution, as careless sharing can lead to serious consequences. He stressed the importance of maintaining a responsible online presence to prevent cyber crime.

The event was attended by Mr. C. Lalrambuatsaiha, President of MJA General Headquarters, who welcomed the participants. Mr. Lalhuma, President of MJA Mamit, discussed the relevance of the seminar, while Mr. K. Zothanpara, General Secretary of MJA General Headquarters, and Ms. Lalramhnehzauvi, Secretary of MJA Mamit District, provided reports on the event. Resource persons included Mr. Jeremia Vanlalhmachhuana, DSP of Cyber Crime, and Mr. Joseph Lalhnehzela, SI of Cyber Crime, who shared valuable insights on the challenges and solutions related to cyber crime.
