Committee On Public Undertakings, Mizoram Legislative Assembly – In Kerala State Legislative Assembly And Corporations

The Committee on Public Undertakings of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly, led by Chairman Er. H. Ginzalala, Technical Adviser to the Chief Minister, is currently on a study tour in Kerala from the 22nd to the 24th of October. The tour includes visits to various state corporations for educational purposes. The delegation consists of Pu V. Malsawmtluanga, MLA and Vice Chairman of the Lunglei High Powered Committee, along with Pu K. Laldawngliana, MLA, Lt. Col. Clement Lalhmingthanga, MLA, and Pu Lalramliana Papuia.

While in Kerala, the committee held a joint meeting with the Committee on Public Undertakings of Kerala, where discussions focused on matters related to State Public Sector Corporations. The Hon’ble Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly and the Minister of Law, Industries, and Coir also attended the meeting.

The committee visited the Kerala Handicraft Development Corporation, Tourism Development Corporation, Travancore Titanium Products Ltd., and the Board of Public Sector Transformation, engaging in fruitful discussions about the operations of these corporations. The Committee on Public Undertakings from Mizoram has greatly benefited from its visit to Kerala, and it is hoped that similar engagements will continue in the future. Additionally, the Committee on Public Undertakings from Kerala expressed interest in learning from Mizoram’s experiences.
