Secretary, Excise & Narcotics Department (E&Nd) Visits Sports And Youth Services In Champhai

Champhai : Pu Lalramsanga Sailo, IRS, Secretary of the Excise & Narcotics Department (E&ND) and Sports and Youth Services, visited the offices of the Excise & Narcotics Department and the District Sports and Youth Services Office (DSYO) in Champhai today.

The Secretary first visited the Excise Office, where he held a meeting with the staff. He commended the employees of the Excise Department for their dedicated efforts in promoting the safety and well-being of individuals, families, and the community. He emphasized the importance of the department’s role in preventing substance abuse and urged the staff to continue their commitment to enforcing regulations effectively.

The meeting with the Excise & Narcotics Department staff was chaired by Pu C. Thangchuanga, Assistant Commissioner of Excise, Champhai, who provided an update on the various activities and achievements of the department this year.

Following this, the Secretary continued his visit to the District Sports and Youth Services Office in Champhai, where he met with the staff to discuss plans for promoting sports initiatives more effectively. He also inspected the Vanlallawma Indoor Stadium (VANIS) to review the ongoing repair work. Additionally, he visited Chhangphut Field to observe the installation of new floodlights.
