CM Bhupendra Patel attends Maha Rudri Yajna and Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav at Gunchhli Rameshwar Mahadev Temple

Gandhinagar : Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel with great devotion participated in the Maha Rudri Yajna and Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav at the Gunchhli Rameshwar Mahadev Temple in Vijapur Taluka of Mehsana district. During the event, he unveiled a grand 250-kilogram bell within the temple premises, symbolizing the temple’s spiritual significance. After that CM offered prayers in the sanctum, seeking blessings for public welfare and prosperity. He also visited  Dhanvantari herbal garden, Bilivan, and Nakshatra Van located on the temple premises.

On this occasion, while extending New Year’s greetings, the Chief Minister said, This year, we are witnessing a monumental moment as it marks the first Diwali after Lord Shri Ram was enshrined in Ayodhya’s temple after 500 years. Here in Gunchhli, the 300-year-old Rameshwar Mahadev Temple has also been beautifully reconstructed, with today’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony symbolizing its restoration.” He further emphasized that Gujarat is advancing in alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to preserve India’s rich heritage and culture while fostering growth and development.

CM emphasized that achieving the Prime Minister’s vision of a Viksit Bharat requires collective efforts to ensure Gujarat remains at the forefront of development. He further said that the newly established Nakshatra Van, Herbal Garden, and Bilivan will serve as valuable resources, offering benefits to all visitors.

Notably, an east-facing Nakshatra Van has been established in the front area of Shri Rameshwar Mahadev Temple. This astro-themed garden is based on Vedic astrology and features plants and trees linked to the zodiac signs. A total of 27 trees have been planted here, each representing one of the 27 nakshatras (constellations).

Moreover, a Bilivan has been developed, covered with Bilva( Aegle marmelos Correa) trees. The temple premises also feature the Dhanvantari Herbal Garden, where around 108 rare and common medicinal plants have been cultivated. Each plant will be tagged, and by scanning the displayed QR codes, visitors will be able to easily access information about the medicinal plants and their health benefits.

The event was attended by Health Minister Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Mayankbhai Nayak, Lok Sabha MP Shri Haribhai Patel, Vijapur MLA Shri C.J. Chavda, and Manasa MLA Shri J.S. Patel. Prominent figures such as Shri Girishbhai Rajgor, Shri P.I. Patel, Shri Ramanbhai Patel, Shri Kantibhai Patel, Shri D.D. Patel, Shri Mukeshbhai Patel, and Shri Rajubhai Patel along with In-Charge District Collector Dr. Hasrat Jasmine, trustees, and numerous donors.
