Special Program for Third Gender Voters Held in Bhokar Under SVEEP

Nanded : Various initiatives are being undertaken under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) for the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election and the 2024 General Assembly elections. A special awareness program for third-gender voters was recently held in Bhokar. During this initiative, voters took an oath to vote, participated in a signature campaign, and shared selfies to document their involvement.

The special program organized in Bhokar saw enthusiastic participation from third-gender voters. They engaged in the signature campaign and committed to voting. This initiative raised awareness among third-gender voters about their rights and emphasized the importance of social contribution.

During the event, Block Education Officer Sudhir Gutte provided information about transparency and accountability in the voting process. Suman Gonarakar also shared details about the voting process and encouraged participants to engage in this initiative through dialogue.

The program instilled new confidence in third-gender voters and encouraged them to integrate into the mainstream of society. The event was attended by officials including Education Extension Officer Jakiuddin Sheikh, Milind Jadhav, and Sudhanshu Kamble, among others.
