3112 Complaints of Code of Conduct Violation Settled; Assets Worth 304 Crores 94 Lakhs SeizedLegislative Assembly General Election – 2024

Mumbai : For the Legislative Assembly General Election – 2024, a total of 3128 complaints were received on the C-Vigil (C-Vigil app) from October 15 to November 7, 2024, and out of these, 3112 complaints have been settled by the Election Commission, as informed by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer.

The C-Vigil app, which helps citizens cooperate in adhering to the code of conduct, can be downloaded from any app store. Through this app, citizens can file complaints regarding code of conduct violations. After the complaint is filed, the relevant team conducts an inquiry and appropriate action is taken.

Assets Worth 304 Crores 94 Lakhs Seized

In actions taken by various enforcement agencies of the State and Central Government, assets worth a total of 304 crores 94 lakhs have been seized related to illegal money, liquor, narcotics, precious metals, etc. The effective enforcement of the code of conduct is currently underway in the state.
