Devanani meets Opposition Leader Alex Hawke discusses Investment Opportunities at 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference
Jaipur : Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Mr. Vasudev Devanani paid a courtesy visit on Friday to Mr. Alex Hawke, a prominent opposition MP and former minister, at the Australian Parliament in Canberra. Mr. Devanani and Mr. Hawke exchanged views on the role of parliamentary methods and procedures in the development of democratic systems in India and Australia, along with exploring investment opportunities in education, tourism, and other sectors.
Mr. Devanani highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is witnessing significant progress in education and employment opportunities. He mentioned that the Rising Rajasthan Global Summit 2024 is being organized in Rajasthan, which is expected to enhance investment in the state, promote inclusive growth, and reinforce various pillars of development, including cultural heritage.
In Australia, Mr. Devanani engaged in discussions with Mr. Hawke and other parliamentarians about the current challenges and future opportunities for expanding industries in both nations. Mr. Devanani explored ways to foster partnership, research, and development in alignment with global competition.
