State government to ensure that every child in the state has access to school education

School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh said that the state government is making efforts to ensure that every child of the state has access to school education. For this, departmental officers will have to effectively implement the draft of Vikasit Bharat @2047. Minister Shri Singh discussed the draft with the officials in the meeting held in Mantralaya on Wednesday. Secretary, School Education Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Commissioner, Public Instruction Smt. Shilpa Gupta were also present in the meeting.

Digital technology in school education

It was told in the meeting that the point that all children should be given quality education equally without any discrimination has been prominently included in the draft of Vision-2047. School Education Minister Shri Singh said that digital technology is being used in education all over the world. He said that we will have to pay special attention to this in the Vision-@2047 draft. Discussing Artificial Intelligence, the School Education Minister said that Artificial Intelligence can be used to solve the curiosities of children. For this, new technology resources will have to be made available in schools. He said that in the new education policy 2020, emphasis has also been laid on connecting children with vocational education. For this, there must be arrangements to provide vocational education to children in a practical manner. School Education Minister Shri Singh said that special attention should be paid to the training of teachers associated with the government sector. Keeping in view the upcoming requirements, the curriculum for teachers should be prepared.

CM Rise School Project

In the meeting, the progress of 275 schools under construction in the first phase of CM Rise School Project was reviewed. Minister Shri Singh said that it is necessary to ensure 100 percent utilization of the resources made available in CM Rise School. He said that the CM Rise School project has been prepared keeping in mind the world-class school system. In the meeting, Secretary, School Education, Dr. Goyal said that 122 CM Rise schools will be started by March 2025. He said that the CM Rise School project is being continuously reviewed given the upcoming requirement in the state. He said that arrangements have been made to give priority admission to the children coming within the CM Rise School area.

Commissioner Public Instruction Smt. Shilpa Gupta informed that 2 CM Rise schools have been inaugurated in October 2024. He said that keeping in view the financial limitations, changes are also being made in the CM Rise School project. Its objective is to provide quality education to more and more children by increasing the number of schools.

Publication of textbooks

In the meeting, the MD of Text Book Corporation, Shri Vinay Nigam informed that a programme has been prepared to deliver textbooks to the schools at the beginning of the academic session in 2025-26. He said that textbook corporations should play maximum participation in the schemes of the School Education Department.
