Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin Congratulates the Selected Candidates

Chennai : The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fellowship Program, implemented in collaboration with the Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Trichy, as the academic partner, has finalized the selection of 25 young fellows for the 2024–26 cohort.

This prestigious program leverages the expertise of talented young individuals from diverse disciplines and educational backgrounds to assist in the implementation of key government policies and priority initiatives. For the 2022–24 batch, 30 fellows were trained and deployed in various assignments. Among them, 11 have transitioned to higher positions, while 19 successfully completed the program and were awarded certificates of excellence in “Public Administration and Governance” by the Honorable Chief Minister on 25 October 2024.

The selection process for the 2024–26 cohort involved three stages: an initial computer-based screening, a detailed written test, and a personal interview. Out of 5,327 applicants in the first stage on 15 September 2024, 501 candidates progressed to the written test held on 6 October 2024. Subsequently, 177 candidates were shortlisted for interviews conducted from 19 to 21 November 2024.

The final list of 25 young fellows was published on 22 November 2024. These selected individuals will undergo a 30-day induction training, including exposure to government departments and specialized training modules conducted by the Bharathidasan Institute of Management. Upon completion, they will engage in key roles across various government departments for two years.

The Honorable Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin, conveyed his congratulations to the selected fellows, stating:
