The swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected MLAs took place on Friday at the Tilak Hall of the Uttar Pradesh State Assembly. CM Yogi congratulated the winning candidates, calling the victory a resounding endorsement of the state’s progress and the faith of the people.

Notably, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) recorded a historic win in the recent by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, securing 7 out of 9 seats. This remarkable victory was seen as a reflection of the state’s development and the public’s unwavering trust in the leadership of CM Yogi and Prime Minister Modi.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana administered the oath to the newly elected MLAs. Following the ceremony, Speaker Mahana addressed the new members, highlighting the honor of serving in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He urged the MLAs to stay closely connected with the public, stressing that the work done by CM Yogi should be taken to the grassroots level.

“You have two and a half years to serve the people. Make your presence felt both in the Assembly and in the public. Your efforts will resonate through your activism,” he said.

Additionally, efforts to control crime and restore religious sites have further boosted public’s trust in CM Yogi’s governance. As a result, the BJP and its ally RLD’s outstanding performance in the Uttar Pradesh by-elections has greatly energized the party.

Meanwhile, despite all the claims and promises by the Samajwadi Party and the opposition alliance, they failed to maintain their credibility. This victory for BJP and its allies has made it clear that the public’s trust in the Yogi government remains strong. With this historic win, the BJP has reaffirmed its strong position in the state.
