Chief Minister’s Visit to JECC: Reviews Preparations for ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Summit and Gives Final Instructions for Arrangements

Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma visited the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura on Saturday evening to review preparations for the ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024’ scheduled from December 9 to 11. He instructed officials to finalize all arrangements related to the summit and ensure the best possible facilities for the guests.

During his visit, Shri Sharma inspected the seating arrangements at the main ceremony venue. He also viewed a short film on developed Rajasthan displayed on the semi-circular LED screen on the stage. Shri Sharma reviewed the arrangements at the pavilions for participant countries, the Rajasthan Pavilion, the VIP lounge, and the halls created for various sessions, and provided necessary instructions. He also visited the exhibition area, inspecting booths of industrial groups such as Vedanta, Adani, Mahindra, JSW Energy, and special zones created for Rajivika self-help groups. Shri Sharma conducted a thorough inspection of the JECC campus and discussed security arrangements with senior officials.

The Chief Minister stated that to fulfill the vision of a developed Rajasthan, the state government is organizing the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ summit from December 9 to 11, which will see renowned investors and industrialists from India and abroad participate. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit on December 9. He emphasized that to make the summit historic and unprecedented, the concerned departments are working in close coordination to ensure excellent execution.

The visit was attended by Industry and Commerce Minister Shri K.K. Vishnoi, MP Shri Madan Rathod, Additional Chief Secretary (CM) Shri Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary (Industry) Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (CM) Shri Alok Gupta, Commissioner of Industry and Commerce Shri Rohit Gupta, Commissioner of RIICO Shri Indrajeet Singh, Additional Commissioner of BIP Shri Saurabh Swami, Jaipur District Collector Shri Jitendra Soni, Jaipur Police Commissioner Shri Biju George Joseph, and other officials.
