Address public issues with urgency and empathy: CM Yogi

Gorakhpur : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday, directed officials to address public issues with urgency and empathy, warning that negligence of any kind in redressal of people’s grievances would not be tolerated.

CM Yogi instructed officials during the Janata Darshan held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath Temple complex. He listened to the concerns of around 150 individuals at the Janata Darshan.

The Chief Minister arrived in Gorakhpur on Monday afternoon and stayed overnight at the Gorakhnath Temple.

Yogi Adityanath stressed the importance of prompt, transparent and satisfactory resolution of all issues faced by the citizens, reiterating that addressing public concerns is the top priority of the government.

He forwarding the applications submitted by citizens to the concerned officials immediately, and also assured the people of swift action and timely justice.

Emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy towards injustice, Yogi Adityanath directed officials to adopt a sensitive and proactive approach in assisting victims, particularly in cases of illegal land encroachments or exploitation of vulnerable individuals, while taking strict legal action against the culprits.

Several individuals sought financial assistance for medical treatment. Reassuring them, the Chief Minister promised full support from the government. He instructed officials to expedite the estimation process for treatment-related expenses to ensure timely aid.

During his stay at the Gorakhnath Temple, the Chief Minister followed his routine on Tuesday morning. After offering prayers to Guru Gorakhnath and paying homage to his guru, Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath, at the Samadhi Sthal, he engaged in cow service at the temple’s Gaushala, feeding jaggery to the cows.
