Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Briefs PM Modi, Seeks Support for Key Initiatives

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House on Tuesday to discuss various welfare initiatives being implemented in the state and seek his guidance. During the meeting, CM Yadav invited the Prime Minister to inaugurate the Global Investors Summit scheduled for February next year.

He also requested PM Modi to lay the foundation stone for the ambitious Ken-Betwa River interlinking project. This initiative aims to transfer surplus water from the Ken River in Madhya Pradesh to the Betwa River in Uttar Pradesh, addressing irrigation needs in the drought-prone Bundelkhand region.

Additionally, CM Yadav informed the Prime Minister about the launch of a two-week campaign, Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the Madhya Pradesh government. The campaign’s primary goal is to achieve 100% saturation in selective welfare schemes targeting youth, women, farmers, and the underprivileged.

Expressing gratitude, CM Yadav sought PM Modi’s blessings for his government’s achievements over the past year, emphasizing its commitment to public welfare and development. The meeting underscored Madhya Pradesh’s vision for progress and the continued collaboration between the state and the central government.
