Jodhpur Hosts Farmers’ Conference; ₹14.8 Cr Aid for 2.96 Lakh Beneficiaries

Live Broadcast of State-Level Farmers’ Conference Held in Jodhpur—Committed to Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare: Parliamentary Affairs Minister

Jaipur : A district-level farmers’ conference was held in Jodhpur on Friday, graced by the presence of Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Legal Minister Shri Jogaram Patel, Jodhpur City MLA Shri Atul Bhansali, and Osian MLA Shri Bhairaram Siyol.

The live broadcast of the state-level farmers’ conference, organized in Ajmer under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, was showcased during the event. The Chief Minister also interacted virtually with farmers from various districts during the program.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is fully committed to agriculture and farmers’ welfare. As part of this commitment, various welfare initiatives were dedicated to the farmers at the state-level conference, held to mark the first anniversary of the government. In its one-year tenure, the government has taken several steps to promote agricultural development and upliftment. Under the Chief Minister’s Farmers’ Honor Fund, an additional ₹2,000 is being provided to farmers apart from the PM-Kisan Nidhi. The second installment of this amount was transferred to farmers’ bank accounts today.

₹14.80 Crores Transferred to 2.96 Lakh Beneficiaries in Jodhpur District
Under the Chief Minister’s Farmers’ Honor Fund, the second installment of ₹500 per beneficiary was transferred directly to 2.96 lakh beneficiaries in Jodhpur district, amounting to ₹14.80 crores via DBT.

Warehouses with 500 and 100 Metric Ton Capacity to Be Constructed
First installments for warehouse construction were transferred for Gram Seva Cooperative Societies at Kairu and Jaitivas, with 500 metric ton capacity warehouses receiving ₹8 lakhs each. Additionally, four warehouses with 100 metric ton capacity at Gram Seva Cooperative Societies in Dhundhara, Sarecha, Chandelav, and Agolai received ₹4 lakhs each.

₹10.47 Crores Granted Under Milk Producers Support Scheme
In one year, under the Chief Minister’s Milk Producers Support Scheme, ₹10.47 crores were transferred via DBT to the accounts of approximately 9,000 milk producers in Jodhpur district. Furthermore, ₹6.21 crores were distributed as interest-free loans to 621 livestock owners under the Gopal Credit Card Scheme.

The Jodhpur Milk Union, under the current government, allocated 20 new dairy booths and established 60 new milk producer cooperative societies/collection centers.

Agricultural Subsidy Schemes and Direct Transfers
Subsidies for drip/sprinkler irrigation systems were disbursed, benefiting 688 farmers in Jodhpur district with ₹236 lakhs via DBT. Additionally, subsidies worth ₹153.23 lakhs were transferred for farm ponds, pipelines, fencing, vermicomposting, canal-based ponds, agricultural equipment, and organic fertilizers for 160 farmers in the district.

Irrigation pipelines benefited 490 farmers with ₹72.50 lakhs in subsidies, and fencing subsidies were provided to 504 farmers, amounting to ₹198.93 lakhs. Subsidies for agricultural equipment were transferred to 62 farmers totaling ₹16.57 lakhs, while 14 farmers received ₹7 lakhs for vermicompost units. Administrative approval of ₹39 lakhs was issued to 20 farmers under the Kusum B Scheme for solar pump installations.
