Deputy CM Diya Kumari Inaugurates District Development Exhibition in Ajmer

One Year of Current Term of State Government – Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari Inaugurates District Development Exhibition in Ajmer – Releases District Development Booklet

Jaipur : On Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister and Ajmer district in-charge minister Dila Kumari inaugurated a district-level exhibition at the newly constructed Art Gallery of the Information Center in Ajmer to mark the completion of one year of the state government’s current term. She also released the District Development Booklet.

Deputy Chief Minister Dila Kumari inspected the department-wise stalls at the district development exhibition. These included stalls from the Information and Public Relations Department, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Agriculture Department with improved crop seeds and products, as well as a display of district’s “Panch Gaurav”. She appreciated kiosks highlighting one district one product, such as rose from Pushkar, neem variety, granite from Kishangarh, kabaddi as a sport, and Pushkar as a tourist destination.

Deputy Chief Minister Dila Kumari mentioned that the newly built Art Gallery at the Information Center would be developed in the style of Jawahar Kala Kendra. This will make the Information Center in Ajmer a hub for social, cultural, artistic, educational, and extracurricular activities. She directed that a proposal be prepared and submitted at the appropriate level for this development. Once developed, it will benefit Ajmer’s intellectuals, artists, theatre workers, photographers, and other sections of society.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the government has initiated a new beginning with “Panch Gaurav”, which will provide a new platform for local products and traditions. She emphasized that products like Pushkar’s rose, Kishangarh’s granite, rural sports like kabaddi, and tourist sites in Pushkar would reach new areas. This, in turn, would boost economic activities and employment opportunities in the region.

She added that through the development exhibition, the work done by the government in the past year has been presented, including the achievements of various departments of the state and district. She encouraged all Ajmer residents to view the exhibition, as it will provide them with detailed insights into the development works in the district.

She also highlighted the several gifts offered by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to farmers, livestock breeders, and youth, stating that the MoUs worth over 35 lakh crores signed at Rising Rajasthan would play a key role in developing Rajasthan as a prosperous state. Rajasthan is progressing as a new economic power, with farmers becoming not just food producers but also energy providers, financially empowering themselves. Pushkar will be developed to the grandeur of places like Ayodhya and Kashi.

The Managing Director of Rajasthan Finance Corporation and supervisor of the one-year celebrations, Shri Hari Mohan Meena, also inspected the development exhibition. On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Shri Suresh Singh Rawat, Chairman of the Rajasthan Heritage Authority Shri Omkar Singh Lakhawat, Chairman of the Devanarayan Board Shri Omprakash Bhadana, Member of Legislative Assembly from Nasirabad Shri Ramswaroop Lamba, along with public representatives, dignitaries, officials, and media personnel, were present.
