Ujjain is one of the four cities where the Kumbh Mela takes place. The temple’s rituals and daily ceremonies are steeped in tradition, offering a profound spiritual experience to the Devotees. Unlike other Jyotirlings, the idol of Mahakaal is depicted as a ‘swayambhu’, meaning it is believed to have emerged naturally. The temple is also associated with several legends, including the story of how Lord Shiva protected Ujjain from the demon Dushana. The temple not only serves as a place of worship but is also a center of cultural and artistic significance. The architecture, sculptures, and rituals observed here reflect the rich cultural heritage of India.

This machine stores up to 36 packets of 500 grams’, 42 packets of 200 grams’ and 90 packets of 100 grams’. It is believed that this machine was installed after a donation from Delhi industrialist. The temple committee acquired it from a 5G technology company in Coimbatore.
