Chief Minister’s Shahpura Visit: Commitment to Serving Every Citizen through Welfare Decisions Sparks Enthusiasm Across Rajasthan
Jaipur – Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that the state government has completed one year of excellence through dedication and commitment. He stated that during this time, the government has achieved significant milestones and has been working tirelessly to serve every section of society. Shri Sharma made these remarks during a program held in Shahpura, Bhilwara district, on Wednesday.
During his visit, Shri Sharma paid tribute to martyrs at Trimurti Circle, unveiled the statue of Maharana Pratap at the Central Bus Stand, and inaugurated the statue of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at Ummed Sagar.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister highlighted that Maharana Pratap symbolizes courage, valor, and self-respect and continues to inspire not only Rajasthan but the entire nation. Similarly, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was a visionary thinker, a distinguished educationist, and an exceptional organizer. He stated that unveiling these statues would familiarize the public with their legacies, instilling a sense of patriotism.
The Chief Minister noted that the government, in its first year, laid the foundation for the state’s development and prosperity by organizing the “Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit,” resulting in MoUs worth over ₹35 lakh crore. These agreements will bolster the state’s economy and create numerous employment opportunities for the youth. Additionally, during the anniversary celebrations in Jaipur, the Prime Minister announced development projects worth over ₹1 lakh crore for Rajasthan.
Shri Sharma mentioned various welfare initiatives launched by the government, such as the Chief Minister Ayushman Health Scheme, Ma Voucher Scheme, and the establishment of Ramashray Wards and Ayushman Health Temples. These efforts have ushered in a new path to a healthy and prosperous life for residents. Over the past year, the government’s welfare-oriented decisions have created an atmosphere of enthusiasm across the state. A favorable monsoon and full reservoirs have further amplified this optimism.
The Chief Minister remarked that the budget announcements by the state government provide a roadmap for the next five years of development, aligning with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. Specific to Shahpura district, several key budgetary announcements have been made, and their implementation is underway.
Projects include constructing, strengthening, and widening roads worth approximately ₹194 crore, establishing a fruit and vegetable market in Jehanpur Municipality, a 33/11 KV GSS in Guda (Jehanpur), a trauma center in Shahpura, upgrading health centers, constructing the district hospital building in Shahpura, and setting up sports facilities and colleges. Additionally, initiatives include establishing a ‘Matrivan’ (Mother Forest) with public participation, declaring Ashop as a conservation reserve for blackbuck protection, and opening hostels and animal health centers.
The event was attended by Law and Justice Minister Shri Jogaram Patel, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Manju Baghamar, MLAs Shri Lalaram Bairwa, Shri Gopi Chand Meena, Shri Pushpendra Singh Ranawat, along with public representatives, officials, and a large gathering of citizens.
