Youth Amazed by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s quick-wittedness

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached the Lit Chowk programme organized at Gandhi Hall, Indore on Friday evening. Here he answered a series of questions put up by anchor Jaideep Karnik on art, literature, development, films etc. Youth present in the programme were impressed by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s responses and expertise in the subjects. The Chief Minister candidly answered the questions asked about his education, politics, and his journey from Malwa to Bhopal. He said that to understand good governance, youth should be familiar with Vikramaditya and Raja Bhoj. They should be aware of how our heritage and the developments that took place during this period and the religious places were related to science. This needs to be told to today’s young generation. Ever since the elections for urban bodies and Panchayats are being held after the 74th amendment of the Constitution, it is being seen that the youth of 22-25 years of age is contributing to the development by contesting the elections of Sarpanch, Corporator etc. Today the youth have more opportunities to understand democracy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon the youth to become employment providers and not employment seekers. Government policy is supportive of self-employment and industry establishment. Through the new education policy, efforts are also being made to change the perception that it is difficult to get a job after studying in college. Only education can shape the future, hence all arrangements have been made in the new education policy to enhance skills and knowledge because living life with self-respect is everyone’s right. He said that Indore is a role model. I want to make the entire state like Indore and take Indore beyond Mumbai-Delhi.

Stressing a healthy body has a healthy mind, he urged the youth to give time to everyone in life, keeping the body healthy along with family and business is most important. On the river linking plan, he said that with this all the rivers will flow incessantly. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ken-Betwa Link Project on 25th December.
