National Consumer Rights Day: Consumers should be aware of their rights – CM Sai
On the occasion of National Consumer Rights Day on 24 December, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that in Chhattisgarh, commissions are operating at the state and district level for the protection of consumer rights. Keeping in mind the increasing online shopping, the Government of India has also made rules related to e-commerce. He said that National Consumer Rights Day is celebrated every year on 24 December to increase awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities. He said that it is the consumer’s right to raise voice against defective goods, deficiency in service and unfair trade practices. Consumers should be aware and vigilant about their rights.
