On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, patients will get better facilities in the new year

35 On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, the medical facilities available to the general public in government hospitals are being continuously expanded. On the instructions of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, efforts are being made to ensure easy and convenient availability of medical facilities to all people at the beginning of the new year itself. On January 1, 2025, rooms have been inaugurated on all floors for the facility of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Ayushman Health Scheme in Sant Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji Smriti Government Hospital Raigarh affiliated to Late Shri Lakhiram Agarwal Smriti Government Medical College. Finance Minister and local MLA of Raigarh Shri O.P. Choudhary has welcomed this initiative being taken for easy availability of health services.

According to Dr. Vineet Kumar Jain, Dean of Medical College Raigarh and Hospital Superintendent Dr. M.K. Minj, this facility expansion will be very convenient for admitted patients and their relatives. This will save time and there will be no need to face unnecessary crowd and queue. Earlier this facility was available only near the registration OPD counter of MRD. According to Hospital Superintendent Dr. M.K. Minj, with the expansion of Ayushman Yojana room, there is no need to get a separate slip for the examination of OPD and IPD patients in the hospital. All tests are completely free. Apart from the registration slip of Rs.10 for OPD and slip of Rs.85 for IPD patients, there is no need to get a separate slip. An order has also been issued in this regard.

Along with this, a new initiative has been taken and a suggestion and complaint box has been arranged in the hospital. Along with this, feedback is being taken daily by the medical social worker and professional counsellor regarding the treatment of the patients admitted in the ward. The letters and feedback received in the suggestion and complaint box will be placed before a committee by the hospital management and their resolution will be ensured.
