Conference of Transport Ministers of States and Union Territories in New Delhi

Jaipur : Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa participated in the joint meeting of Transport Ministers of States and Union Territories and the 42nd meeting of the Transport Development Council, chaired by Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi.

The meeting, held on Tuesday at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, included detailed discussions on the National Transport Policy, comprehensive measures for road safety, and the implementation of digital solutions in the transport sector. Additionally, in-depth deliberations were conducted on vehicle pollution control, improving fuel efficiency, and strengthening public transport.

Addressing the meeting, Union Minister Shri Gadkari emphasized that such dialogues are essential for addressing regional challenges, sharing best practices, and ensuring uniform implementation of transformative transport policies across the country.
