Programmes for the betterment of women will commence from Makar Sankranti : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is working on four missions to bring change in the lives of poor, youth power, farmers and women. A massive programme is proposed on the Makar Sankranti festival especially in the direction of women empowerment. Our aim is to empower women by improving the economic condition through self-employment and self-reliance.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the amount of grant being given to Ladli Bahnas was also hiked to achieve the goal of women empowerment. Dimensions like industry, self-reliance and self-help group activities are also being added with the aim of progressive improvement in the status of sisters. Women labour based works are being started in readymade garments and other industries, which will provide more employment opportunities to women and give them a chance for a better life. Four such industries have been started in the state and activities are being expanded further. The state government has made a provision of Rs. 5000 incentive per worker for these industries.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that everyone should participate in the progress of the state and the country, with this feeling the state government is working towards development and public welfare. We believe that the fate of the state will change only with the coordinated efforts of everyone.
