Chief Minister Inaugurates Kite Festival: Promotes the Message of Diligence and Generosity by Flying Kites, Participates in Cow Worship and Service at Pinjarapole Gaushala
Jaipur : On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the Kite Festival at Jal Mahal’s promenade on Tuesday by releasing balloons and flying kites.
While extending his greetings to the people of the state, the Chief Minister highlighted that Makar Sankranti is a symbol of India’s rich heritage and cultural unity. He encouraged everyone to embrace the values of diligence and generosity on this auspicious occasion and called for helping those in need.

During the event, the Chief Minister toured a kite exhibition and enjoyed cultural performances by folk artists. The festival was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore, MLA Balmukundacharya, Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department Ravi Jain, Tourism Commissioner Vijaypal Singh, Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Soni, along with other officials, domestic and international tourists, and members of the public.
Makar Sankranti Celebrations Continue:
Following the inauguration, the Chief Minister visited the Pinjarapole Gaushala in Sanganer. Accompanied by his wife, he performed cow worship with traditional Vedic rituals and offered fodder to the cows, actively participating in cow service. He also interacted with the locals and exchanged greetings.
Later, at the Chief Minister’s residence, Mr. Sharma celebrated Makar Sankranti by flying kites, marking the festival with enthusiasm and joy.
