For too long, this constituency has been neglected by the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi Government, leading to inadequate water supply, a lack of proper drainage and sewage systems in most areas, crumbling infrastructure, deteriorating roads, and a severe shortage of basic amenities. My focus will be on comprehensive development of the area.”

About the Bijwasan Constituency
The Bijwasan constituency, located in South West Delhi, is one of the largest and most diverse constituencies in the national capital. Despite its size and strategic importance, the area has been continuously neglected under the AAP-led Delhi Government. The prolonged neglect has led to the deteriorating condition of roads, poor maintenance of public infrastructure, and lack of basic civic amenities. Even posh areas within the constituency suffer from issues like improper garbage management, inadequate water supply and sewer issues. The condition of the Jhuggi clusters in the constituency is even more disheartening, with residents facing challenges such as lack of the supply of drinking water, absence of drainage system, improper sanitation, and inadequate housing.

Shri Kailash Gahlot pledged to work tirelessly for all sections of society, ensuring Bijwasan transforms into a model constituency. He emphasized that his focus will be on inclusive growth and creating an environment where every citizen can thrive with dignity and access to quality infrastructure and public services.
