80 KGBV students to take part in Republic Day Parade for the first time
Lucknow : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed remarkable empowerment of girls through education in the last few years.
As a result, 80 students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in the state have been selected to participate in the Republic Day parade for the first time this year.
These students, selected from the residential KGBVs in Malihabad, Chinhat, and Sarojini Nagar in Lucknow, will showcase their discipline, talent, and enthusiasm in the parade to be held in front of the Vidhan Bhavan.
This is the first time that students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas are taking part in the Republic Day parade. This initiative by the Yogi government is part of the efforts to promote women’s empowerment and education in the state.
The students have undergone rigorous training for the past 10 days at the Lucknow Police Line to be fully prepared for the parade. Their dedication and hard work symbolize that with the right guidance and opportunities, any goal can be achieved.
The participation of these 80 students in the parade is an honor not only to their school branches but also the entire KGBV network of 746 schools across the state.
