Health Awareness and Screening Camps Organized in Tablabagh and Puankhai Villages under the Healthy Lunglei District Campaign

Lunglei : As part of the ongoing Healthy Lunglei District Campaign, health awareness and screening programs (free medical camps and NCD awareness-cum-screening) were conducted yesterday and today in Tablabagh and Puankhai villages under the Tlabung RD Block in Lunglei District.

This program was carried out by a medical team from the Lunglei Chief Medical Office, providing essential health services to the local population. The focus was on educating people about non-communicable diseases (NCDs), their prevalence, causes, and preventive measures, along with how to maintain a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of such diseases. Free NCD screenings were also conducted to identify cases and raise awareness among the villagers.
