Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav while addressing the All India Pro-Kabaddi Tournament organized by Sahayog Krida Mandal in Gotegaon said that the country’s players have made a mark in the whole world with their strength, valour, skill and intelligence. Players have made the country proud in various international and national games. Kabaddi and wrestling players have won medals in every event. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the future belongs to the youth, highlighting efforts under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership to promote players and sports, include it as a subject in the new education policy, and recruit Jan Shikshaks to support these initiatives.
CM announces Rs. 11 lakh for Sahayog Krida Mandal Gotegaon
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav commended the efforts of the Maninagendra Singh Foundation and Sahayog Krida Mandal for promoting traditional sports and organizing a grand Kabaddi competition, which has been held continuously for the past 41 years. He noted that the committee’s efforts have produced numerous national and state-level players, emphasizing that every Kabaddi player has played from Gotegaon. He also praised the committee’s contributions to sports and social service. Dr. Yadav announced a grant of Rs. 11 lakh for the committee and stated that a Kabaddi League would be organized in the future to further encourage traditional sports. Member of Parliament Choudhary Darshan Singh, MLAs Shri Vishwanath Singh Patel and Shri Mahendra Nagesh, founder member of Sahyog Krida Mandal Shri Mulam Singh Patel and other prominent public representatives were present.
Kabaddi players have made the country proud
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised Kabaddi for reflecting Indian philosophy and being linked to Pranayam and exercise. He linked the game’s structure to the Chakravyuh of Mahabharata, highlighting the coordination of valour and energy. Dr. Yadav noted that Kabaddi is gaining international recognition, with players bringing pride to India, and emphasized the state’s commitment to promoting traditional sports. He also expressed that the unique joy of playing on the soil is unmatched, with Kabaddi and similar sports being embraced warmly in foreign countries.
Government committed to the welfare of women, poor, youth and farmers
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the government’s commitment towards welfare of women, the poor, youth and farmers through various campaigns. He mentioned that under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership, efforts are being made to provide permanent homes to every poor by 2028 and to fill over one lakh government posts for youth, with plans to fill 2.70 lakh posts in the next five years. He also stated that all the pending Public Service Commission examinations will be held soon. A state-wide youth welfare campaign is being run alongside initiatives in school education, higher education, and employment.
Religious Tourism Sites to Be Developed at Locations Linked to Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar for her remarkable contributions to good governance and emphasized the state’s commitment to following her ideals and establishing the parameters of good governance. He also stated that the government will work to provide basic facilities and enhance healthcare across all regions.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the nationwide excitement on the completion of one year of the Shri Ram temple construction in Ayodhya, with cultural rituals being organized all over. He also mentioned that in the state, locations where Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna stepped in will be developed as religious tourist centers.
Liquor will be banned in 17 different religious places
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that liquor will be banned in 17 religious places across the state to combat social issues like drug addiction. He also outlined plans to ensure proper arrangements of bathing ghats and provide shelters to Narmada Parikrama pilgrims. He also emphasized efforts to make the Narmada region greener for environmental protection.
Panchayat and Rural Development and Labour Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel emphasized the promotion of traditional sports, noting the 41-year-long Kabaddi competition in Gotegaon. He said tthat the state government is also making efforts to support sports and welfare schemes. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav garlanded Late Maninagendra Singh’s photograph and presented a shield to national gold medalist Anjali Verma for her achievement in the high jump.
Beneficiaries of various schemes benefited from the stage
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented benefits to Anbi Patel, Tejaswani Kahar, and Shivanya Thakur under the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Smt. Aastha Lodhi, Shri Pankaj Dubey, and Shri Jagdish Lodhi under the Super 5000 scheme under MP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare and Shri Rohit Agarwal under the Fodder Development Scheme under the Animal Husbandry Department from the stage.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav dedicated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 39 works worth Rs. 135 crore 18 lakh in Gotegaon. These include the dedication of 19 construction works worth Rs. 22 crore 85 lakh and Bhoomi Pujan of 20 construction works worth Rs. 112 crore 33 lakh.
