Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma Hoists the National Flag in Jagdalpur

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma hoisted the national flag and took the parade salute at the main Republic Day ceremony held at Lalbagh in Jagdalpur. Addressing the gathering in Halbi, he extended his greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Republic Day. The ceremony featured 14 contingents from the District Police Force, Central Paramilitary Forces, Home Guards, and NCC presenting their salute. He also read out the Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s message to the people. Colorful balloons symbolizing joy and celebration were released into the sky.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma honored the families of martyred soldiers by presenting them with shawls and coconuts. Awards were distributed to outstanding officers and employees from various departments, cultural performers, and winners of the parade and tableaux presentations.

The event was attended by Padma Shri awardee Shri Dharampal Saini, Commissioner Shri Doman Singh, Inspector General of Police Shri Sundarraj P., CCF Shri R.C. Dugga, senior CRPF officers, Collector Shri Haris S., judges from the District and Sessions Court, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Jagdalpur Shri Prateek Jain, along with a large number of dignitaries, officials, employees, and school students.
