After addressing five public election meetings consecutively in the Gorakhpur division on Friday, Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath arrived at the Gorakhnath temple in the evening. Spending the night at his residence within the temple complex, his Saturday morning routine followed tradition.
After performing the darshan-pujan of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath, he sought blessings at the Samadhi of his Brahmalin Gurudev Mahant Avedyanath. Following this, as per his usual custom, he toured the temple premises. Upon reaching the cowshed, he called the cows by name and invited them to him, offering them roti and jaggery.
He also provided guidance to the Gaushala volunteers on necessary measures to ensure the well-being of the cows amidst the scorching heat. Engaging in gau seva, he spent some time playing with the cows.
As the Chief Minister toured the temple grounds, a considerable crowd of devotees, who had come for prayers and worship, greeted him, chanting “Jai Shri Ram.”
Acknowledging their greetings, the CM waved to them and inquired about their well-being. Many devotees, accompanied by their children, had also come to pay respects to Guru Gorakhnath.
CM Yogi invited the children closer, gently touched each one’s forehead, and bestowed love, affection, and blessings upon them. He engaged with the children in a warm conversation, sharing laughs and jokes. Finally, he gifted chocolates to everyone present.
