Full Support for Marathi Literary Convention in New Delhi: CM Devendra Fadnavis

New Delhi : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured full support for the 98th All India Marathi Literary Convention, set to be held in New Delhi. Expressing confidence in its success, he stated that the convention, scheduled from February 21 to 23, 2025, will be a grand event.

CM Fadnavis inaugurated the convention’s office at Maharashtra Sadan on Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. During the event, he emphasized that the literary gathering will be a matter of pride not only for India but for Marathi speakers worldwide. Various departments are working in coordination to ensure its successful execution. Given that this is the first convention in New Delhi after Maharashtra’s formation and Marathi’s recognition as a classical language, it holds great significance. Marathi literary figures are eagerly looking forward to the event, which is expected to be thought-provoking. CM Fadnavis also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to attend.

Felicitations by Marathi Associations in Delhi

Several Marathi organizations in Delhi honored CM Fadnavis in a civic felicitation ceremony. During the event, long-time Marathi residents of Delhi shared their expectations and concerns with the Chief Minister. CM Fadnavis responded positively, assuring them that necessary steps will be taken for the development of Marathi associations and their premises in Delhi.
