Vide a press release, Metro Railways have brought it to the notice of its commuters that, as a mark of reverence to the sentiments of the book lovers, Metro Railway has been operating additional services on Green Line – 1 for all the book lovers eager to go to the 48^th. International Kolkata Book Fair.

Metro is now operating additional services on Sealdah – Salt Lake Sector V stretch during the Fair days (28.01.2025 to 09.02.2025) for the convenience of the book lovers. Accordingly, Metro will operate services on coming Sunday (i.e., 09.02.2025) too.

ON SUNDAY (09.02.2025)

Metro will operate 74 services (37 East-bound & 37 West-bound) on Green Line – 1. Metro services on this line will be available from 14:15 hours to 21:40 hours. Services will be operated at an interval of 12 minutes from 14:15 hours to 21:15 hrs.

First Service:

At 14:15 hrs. from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V;

At 14:25 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Sealdah;

Last Service:

At 21:35 hrs. from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V;

At 21:40 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Sealdah.
