Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Visits Prayagraj, Calls Mahakumbh a Grand Confluence of Faith
Mahakumbh Nagar – Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in Prayagraj on Sunday on the auspicious occasion of Mahakumbh 2025. Describing the Mahakumbh as a great confluence of faith, he expressed gratitude for witnessing this spiritual event in his lifetime. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for organizing the grand Mahakumbh. During his visit, CM Dhami inspected the Uttarakhand Mandapam and participated in the ‘Gyan Mahakumbh’ held in Sector 8.
Prayers for a Prosperous India
Upon reaching Prayagraj, CM Dhami remarked, “This is a grand confluence of faith, where millions of devotees from across the country are taking a holy dip. We are truly fortunate to witness this Mahakumbh in our era.” He further stated, “We pray to Mother Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our nation continues on the path of prosperity and progress.” He also extended his gratitude to CM Yogi Adityanath for ensuring the successful organization of the event.
Interaction with Devotees at Uttarakhand Mandapam
CM Dhami visited the Uttarakhand Mandapam, established at Mahakumbh 2025, where he interacted with devotees and inquired about their well-being. Expressing satisfaction with the arrangements, he ensured that the Mandapam is equipped with special facilities to accommodate devotees from Uttarakhand, making their spiritual journey smoother. The Mahakumbh 2025 is witnessing an influx of millions of pilgrims from India and abroad, and centers like Uttarakhand Mandapam are enhancing their pilgrimage experience with dedicated services.
Participation in ‘Gyan Mahakumbh’
CM Dhami also participated in the ‘Gyan Mahakumbh’ at Sector-8, Prayagwal Marg, where he engaged in religious, spiritual, and intellectual discussions. Appreciating the event, he said, “The ‘Gyan Mahakumbh’ is dedicated to the promotion of education. It will play a significant role in shaping the next generation of students.” He emphasized that this event, being held on the sacred land of Prayagraj, is reviving India’s rich knowledge tradition through educational exhibitions, seminars, and conferences for students, women, and scholars.
Before concluding, CM Dhami extended an invitation to all for the upcoming Ardh Kumbh in Haridwar in 2027, encouraging devotees to continue their spiritual journeys.
