“Coast to Spirit: PM Modi’s Meditative Journey to Vivekananda’s Rock in Kanyakumari!”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Senior BJP Leader will be on a three-day visit to Kanyakumari starting from May 30th. According to sources, PM Modi will visit the Rock Memorial and meditate at the Dhyan Mandapam, the same place where Swami Vivekananda once meditated.
This rock had a major impact on Swami Vivekananda’s life. People believe that, just as Sarnath holds a special place in the life of Gautam Buddha, this rock holds a similar significance for Swami Vivekananda. It was here that Swami Vivekananda arrived after wandering across the country, meditated for three days, and attained a vision for a developed India. By meditating at the same place, Prime Minister Narendra Modi demonstrates his commitment to realizing Swami Vivekananda’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
This is the southernmost tip of India, where the eastern and western coastlines meet, and the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and Arabian Sea converge. PM Modi’s visit also reflects his deep commitment and love for Tamil Nadu, visiting the state even after the elections are over. The Prime Minister is known for undertaking spiritual journeys at the end of election campaigns. In line with this tradition, he will reach Kanyakumari on May 30th.
