Deputy CM to Inaugurate ITI Trainers’ Training Program in Pune on Monday
Mumbai : The Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, under the Department of Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, has organized the ‘Train the Teachers’ program for ITI trainers. The inauguration ceremony will take place on Monday, February 17, at 10 AM at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Government Industrial Training Institute, Aundh, Pune. The event will be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, with Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha presiding as the chief guest.
The ‘Train the Teachers’ initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of skill development and is being implemented in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The event will also be attended by former IAS officer Avinash Dharmadhikari and COO of Tata Strive, Amey Wanjari, along with other distinguished guests.
Representatives from various institutions, including the Government Industrial Training Institute, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar; Government Industrial Training Institute, Amravati; National Skill Training Institute, Mumbai; and Indo-German Tool Room, Sambhajinagar, will participate virtually (online) in the program.
The primary objective of this training program is to develop well-trained trainers, and it will officially commence on February 17, as per information provided by the department.
