Review Meeting on Jaipur Division’s Development Works – CM Bhajanlal Sharma Emphasizes Uninterrupted Water & Power Supply
District Collectors Responsible for Budget Implementation; Pending Reports Due in Three Days
Jaipur – Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma has directed all District Collectors in Jaipur Division to submit reports within the next three days on the pending announcements from the 2024-25 budget. He emphasized that the implementation of budget-related projects is the direct responsibility of the District Collector, who must conduct on-site inspections and resolve issues accordingly. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to complete all technical evaluations and approve necessary sanctions by the end of February.
On Sunday, CM Sharma conducted a virtual conference (VC) from the Chief Minister’s residence to review the progress of development projects and budget implementation in Jaipur Division. During the meeting, District Collectors shared their recommendations for the 2025-26 budget, covering drinking water, electricity, roads, healthcare, education, tourism, and transportation. The Chief Minister directed them to set priority benchmarks based on utility and feasibility while personally overseeing the progress.
Ensuring No Hardships in Summer – Uninterrupted Water & Power Supply
CM Sharma stressed that with summer approaching, District Collectors must prepare contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted water and electricity supply for the public. He mandated strict accountability for Collectors and urged immediate action against illegal water connections while ensuring proper rainwater drainage management.
State Government’s Vision – “Heritage & Hi-Tech”
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that his government prioritizes both development and heritage conservation, working under the vision of “Heritage & Hi-Tech.” Reviewing development in Jhunjhunu district, he called for a comprehensive plan to boost tourism at Lohargal and other heritage sites. Similarly, he reviewed Sikar district’s projects, stressing that the renovation of Khatu Shyam Ji temple, as per budget provisions, must include world-class facilities to enhance the pilgrimage experience.
Jaipur High-Tech City – A Dream Project
CM Sharma reiterated that the proposed High-Tech City in Jaipur is a dream project of the state government. The plan will focus on strong road connectivity, water, electricity, and essential infrastructure development.

Sawant (Public Health & Engineering), Ajitabh Sharma (Industries), Dinesh Kumar (Revenue), Rajesh Yadav (Urban Governance), and Gayatri Rathore (Medical & Health). Principal Secretaries from various departments, Chief Forest Conservator Arijit Banerjee, Jaipur Divisional Commissioner, Director General of Police, and Collectors from Jaipur, Sikar, Kotputli-Behror, and Dausa attended. Other senior officials and Collectors from Jaipur Division participated via video conferencing.
