Historic Event at Bageshwar Dham: Mass Wedding of 251 Underprivileged Girls

Raipur : In a remarkable display of religious devotion, social commitment, and national unity, a grand mass wedding ceremony for 251 underprivileged girls was held at Bageshwar Dham as part of the ongoing Shivratri Mahotsav. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai graced the occasion, emphasizing the rich spiritual heritage of Chhattisgarh.

A Land of Saints and Traditions

CM Sai highlighted that Chhattisgarh is a land of deep-rooted faith and saintly traditions, as even Lord Shri Ram spent a significant part of his exile here. He expressed pride in being part of such a divine event, reinforcing that values and culture play a vital role in shaping individuals.

Commitment to a Naxal-Free Chhattisgarh

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s historic efforts to eradicate Naxalism from the state. Under the support of the “double-engine” government, a firm resolution has been made to eliminate Naxalism entirely by March 31, 2026. He praised the security forces for their unwavering dedication and commended Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma for leading the mission successfully.

Curbing Religious Conversions & Homecoming Campaign

CM Sai also emphasized the government’s strict stance on preventing religious conversions and promoting the “Ghar Wapsi” (homecoming) initiative to uphold Chhattisgarh’s religious and cultural balance. He paid tribute to the late Dilip Singh Judeo for his contributions and assured that the government would implement stringent policies to safeguard society’s cultural identity.

A New Chapter in Social Service: Wedding of 251 Underprivileged Girls

The mass wedding of 251 underprivileged girls organized by Bageshwar Dham was met with immense enthusiasm among devotees. The marriages were conducted following Vedic rituals, and each newlywed couple was provided with all necessary household essentials to begin their new life.

Spiritual Energy and Social Harmony Unite

CM Sai lauded the initiative, calling it a historic step toward reviving the essence of Sanatan Dharma, promoting unity, and securing the future of young underprivileged girls. He expressed the Chhattisgarh government’s pride in supporting such social and religious endeavors and affirmed its commitment to contributing to similar noble causes in the future.

CM Vishnu Deo Sai: A Leader for the People – Baba Bageshwar

Addressing the gathering, Sant Dhirendra Krishna Shastri (Baba Bageshwar) praised CM Vishnu Deo Sai for his humility and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Chhattisgarh. He acknowledged the Chief Minister’s active participation in the event as a testament to his dedication to public service. Baba Bageshwar also reiterated the government’s ambitious goal to make Chhattisgarh completely free from Naxal influence within the next two years, with both the state and central governments working tirelessly toward this mission.

He further emphasized that Chhattisgarh, known as the “Rice Bowl of India,” is a land rich in religion and culture. He prayed for the state’s continued prosperity, stating, “Chhattisgarhiya Sabse Badiya” (Chhattisgarh is the best). May this land always remain blessed with happiness and abundance.”

The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, along with several dignitaries and a large number of devotees.
