School Children Enjoy Screening of ‘Chhava’; Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Chairman Praises the Initiative

Raipur : School children from Vanvasi Kalyan Samiti Ashram enthusiastically watched the film Chhava, based on the life of the Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, which has been declared tax-free by Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. These children, hailing from Assam and Nagaland, were brought to City Center Mall, Pandri, Raipur, under the guidance of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Chairman Shri Rupnarayan Sinha. The event was also attended by Shri Gaurav Devangan (Assistant Accounts Officer) and Shri Ravikant Kumbhkar (Probation Officer).

After watching the film, the children expressed their admiration, calling Chhava an inspiring saga of a brave warrior who sacrificed his life for his kingdom, his father’s vision, and his people. They appreciated the film as an excellent opportunity to understand history up close.

On this occasion, Shri Rupnarayan Sinha thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai for making the film tax-free. He remarked, “Our country has a glorious history, with legendary warriors like Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Facing an army of lakhs with just a few thousand soldiers seemed impossible, yet he achieved the unimaginable. This film conveys a powerful message of bravery and patriotism.”

After the screening, the children also explored City Center Mall and expressed their gratitude to Shri Rupnarayan Sinha for this memorable experience.
