Police face challenges for the public : CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the police face all kinds of challenges and provides a favorable environment for the society to live without worries. The police stay away from their homes on Holi, Diwali and other festivals and discharge their responsibility towards the society with their full devotion. He said that security personnel hold a special place of respect and importance in society. It is a matter of joy to play Holi with police personnel in the city of Baba Mahakal. Making arrangements for the festival of Holi is a challenging task for the police. It is because of the service of the police that all citizens celebrate the festival of Holi with joy and happiness. Police is an important link for the security of the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said these things in the Holi Milan ceremony organised at the Police Line on Saturday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the service rendered by the police personnel on the ground during the difficult period of Covid is an excellent example of dedication in the history of the country. We are proud of the police. The government has simplified the process for the police personnel to have their own houses. CM Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is gaining a special identity under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi. This time the state has presented the biggest budget of Rs 4 lakh 21 thousand crores till date. No new tax has been imposed in the budget. Special attention has been given in the budget for the police personnel to approve new vehicles, new buildings of police stations, adequate facilities to deal with anti-social forces in Naxal-affected areas.
Government will soon make more than 8500 new recruitments in the police department
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are going to fill the posts by conducting continuous recruitments in all the departments. The government has re-established the police band in every district. New posts have also been created for this. Police band is the pride of police which gives dignity to the programmes of 26 January and 15 August with its performance. CM Dr. Yadav said that the government has recruited more than 6600 police personnel. CM Dr. Yadav said that soon more than 8500 new recruitments of police constables and sub-inspectors will also be released in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav played Holi of flowers with the police personnel. At the end of the programme, CM Dr. Yadav discussed with the women officers and employees serving in the police and offered them sweets and wished them a Happy Holi.
