Greater Noida : The Yogi government is rapidly transforming government schools into modern education centers. Under the Operation Kayakalp initiative, these schools are evolving beyond traditional classrooms into state-of-the-art inclusive learning centers. As part of this effort, a high-tech school built at a cost of ₹1.30 crore in Mathurapur, Greater Noida, will be inaugurated on March 19 by Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge), Sandeep Singh.

Preparing Students for Global Competition
The Yogi government is not only focused on increasing the number of schools but also on enhancing their quality. To promote modern education and prepare students for global competition, facilities like smart classrooms, digital boards, laboratories, inclusive learning environments, and health and sanitation management have been introduced. Currently, 90 students are enrolled in this school, with plans to increase admissions to over 150 in the next academic session. With this initiative, government schools are now equipped with high-end facilities, making them comparable to private schools and ensuring equal opportunities for students.

Advanced Facilities for Students
The newly constructed school features smart classrooms, where each classroom is equipped with digital boards and smart learning tools to enhance teaching effectiveness. Special attention has been given to hygiene and health, with RO-filtered drinking water and separate toilets for boys and girls to maintain cleanliness and convenience. Security measures have also been prioritized, including two exit doors per classroom for emergencies. Additionally, a dedicated mid-day meal hall has been constructed to ensure students can eat comfortably. To support holistic development, facilities for sports and laboratories have been established, allowing students to stay physically active and gain practical scientific knowledge.

Special Facilities for Differently-Abled Students
In line with its commitment to inclusive education, the Yogi government has developed this school as a disabled-friendly institution. To ensure accessibility, ramps, railings, and assistive devices have been installed. Specially trained teachers are also being appointed to cater to the needs of differently-abled students. This initiative allows them to be seamlessly integrated into mainstream education, empowering them to become self-reliant.
Focus on Environmental Conservation
Along with educational development, the Yogi government is also promoting environmental conservation. This school has been designed following the “Green School” model, ensuring sustainable practices and resource conservation. During construction, efforts were made to avoid tree-cutting, and instead, more trees were planted to maintain a green and clean school environment. This provides students with a healthier atmosphere for learning.
Statement from the Basic Education Minister
Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh emphasized that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Inclusive Growth) policy aims to provide equal access to education for all children. Special facilities are being added to government schools to include differently-abled students in mainstream education. The Mathurapur school is a prime example of this initiative, featuring accessible ramps, inclusive classrooms, and other essential facilities to ensure a barrier-free, high-quality education for all students.
