No Glorification of Aurangzeb in the State – Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde
Mumbai : Aurangzeb brutally persecuted Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He came to destroy Maharashtra, and no one will tolerate his glorification, stated Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in the state assembly.
Deputy Chief Minister Shinde emphasized that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj sacrificed his life for the country and religion. He added that the stain of Aurangzeb must be erased from Maharashtra, and glorifying him amounts to an act of treason, which the state will not forgive. He warned that strict action would be taken against those who support Aurangzeb. He also reaffirmed that the state government is working in line with the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and is committed to ensuring justice for the underprivileged.
Shinde strongly condemned the recent cowardly attack by anti-social elements in Nagpur. He assured that strict action would be taken against those who try to create unrest in society. He also stated that the situation in Nagpur is under control and urged citizens to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order.
