CM Vishnu Deo Sai Reviews Preparations for PM Narendra Modi’s Visit to Bilaspur
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to address a historic public gathering in Mohbhatha, Bilaspur, on March 30. Ahead of the event, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai personally visited the venue today to assess the preparations. He conducted a detailed inspection of the main stage, helipad, green room, cultural stage, seating arrangements for beneficiaries and distinguished guests, and other key facilities.
During a meeting with officials, CM Sai emphasized that the 55-acre event site must be well-organized and people-centric. Authorities were instructed to ensure all arrangements are completed in a timely and efficient manner, considering the expected attendance of approximately 2 lakh people from across the state.
PM Modi’s Biggest Visit to Chhattisgarh
CM Sai described PM Modi’s upcoming visit as his largest ever to Chhattisgarh, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Navratri. He highlighted that he had personally invited the Prime Minister in Delhi, and the entire state eagerly awaits his arrival.
During the event, PM Modi will announce development projects worth ₹33,000 crore, including initiatives under the PM Janman Yojana, specifically designed for tribal communities like the Birhor, Baiga, and Pahadi Korwa. These projects will significantly contribute to the development of Chhattisgarh’s tribal regions.
Ensuring a Smooth and Comfortable Event
The district administration has been tasked with ensuring the safe transportation of beneficiaries to and from the venue. Given the summer season, adequate arrangements for drinking water, shade, and medical assistance will be made.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao assured that the local administration is working diligently to ensure a seamless event, which will be remembered as a historic moment for the people of Chhattisgarh.

The review meeting was attended by MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik, Amar Agrawal, Dharamjeet Singh, Punnulal Mohle, and Sushant Shukla, along with Principal Secretary to the CM Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary P. Dayanand, Divisional Commissioner Mahadev Kawre, IG Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Avnish Sharan, and other senior officials.
