CM Yogi to unveil Anant Nagar Housing Scheme on April 4, fulfilling homeownership dreams in Lucknow

Lucknow : Lucknow residents dreaming of owning a home have a reason to celebrate. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to launch the registration process for the Anant Nagar Residential Scheme, an initiative of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) on Friday. The ambitious project, located on Mohan Road, spans 785 acres and is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 10,000 crore.

The scheme aims to provide residential plots to people across different income groups, with a special preference for the economically weaker sections (EWS). Interested applicants can apply and gather more details through LDA’s official website or by calling the toll-free number 180018005000.

Additionally, LDA has initiated a new strategy to accelerate construction and development of its various housing projects. This move will also facilitate the sale of vacant flats worth over Rs 147.85 crore under different schemes. The process will ease the sale of unsold flats in residential projects, including Shravan, Adra, Anubhuti, Sopan Enclave Phase-2, Rashmi Lok, and Mrigshira Apartments.

The Anant Nagar Housing Scheme, being developed by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) on Mohan Road, is set to be a unique project in many ways. It will offer residential plots to people from all economic backgrounds, with a special focus on the lower-income group.

Located near Uttar Pradesh’s first Edu-Tech City, this area is expected to become a hub for economic, business, and social activities in the future. The project aligns with the Yogi government’s commitment to providing a safe and well-planned residential space for nearly one lakh people.

Every block of Anant Nagar Yojana will have solid waste management, shopping center, baraat ghar and vending zone. The scheme will be developed in a total of 8 blocks.

Meanwhile, LDA is also progressing with the land acquisition process for two major projects in Mohanlalganj—a 1,197.98-acre Wellness City and a 1,696.77-acre IT City. The assessment for these acquisitions is currently underway and is expected to be completed soon.

Fresh initiatives for marketing, maintenance, and makeover of vacant flats on the anvil

The work of adopting a new strategy has also been started to pave the way for the sale of vacant flats worth more than Rs 147.85 crore under various residential apartment schemes of LDA. To complete this task, the process of forming a special team is underway which will prepare a new action plan for marketing, maintenance and makeover of vacant flats.

The process will pave the way for sale of 119 vacant three BHK flats costing Rs 65 crore in Shravan Apartment, 34 vacant two BHK flats costing Rs. 14.33 crore in Adra Apartment, 42 vacant two BHK flats costing Rs. 9.61 crore, 80 vacant two BHK flats costing Rs. 30.31 crore in Sopan Enclave Phase-2, 16 one BHK flats costing Rs. 6.79 crore in Rashmi Lok Apartment and 53 flats costing Rs. 21.80 crore in Mrigasira Building, Sunrise Apartment.
