On Day 3 of Su-Shasan Tihar, Citizens Continue Submitting Grievances

Application Drop Boxes Set Up in Every Village, Public Participation Surges

Raipur : The Chhattisgarh government’s public outreach initiative, Su-Shasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), continued into its third day with citizens actively submitting applications regarding their grievances and demands. As part of the first phase of the program, grievance drop boxes (Samadhan Peti) were installed in every village and urban area of Kondagaon district. Residents enthusiastically utilized these drop boxes to submit their concerns.

The initiative witnessed encouraging participation from remote villages in blocks like Kondagaon, Makri, Farasgaon, Keshkal, and Baderajpur. Villagers came forward without hesitation to share their issues.

At a Su-Shasan Tihar camp in Bhiragaon village, Mrs. Umalata Dewangan submitted a request concerning the water crisis in her area, expressing hope that the initiative would bring resolution. Similarly, Mrs. Sarita Netam submitted an application for an LPG connection under the Ujjwala Yojana, while Mrs. Ishwari Dewangan requested a permanent house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. From Madanar village, Mr. Biruram Baghel filed a request for a permanent electricity connection, and Mrs. Chandrika Korram from Kumharpara applied for an LPG connection.

The district administration also received numerous applications related to housing, toilets, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, pensions, road and bridge development, forest rights, and drinking water issues.

Citizens lauded Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s initiative, hoping for swift redressal of their concerns. The campaign has empowered people, especially those in remote and rural regions, to voice their problems directly to the government by simply submitting their grievances in local drop boxes.

The application submission phase will continue until April 11, with forms accepted daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Organized under the directives of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Su-Shasan Tihar 2025 aims to ensure time-bound resolution of public grievances, assess the implementation of welfare schemes, accelerate developmental projects, and establish direct communication with citizens, elected representatives, and social organizations.

The program will be conducted in three phases:

  1. Phase 1 (April 8–11): Receiving applications from the general public.
  2. Phase 2: Resolution of submitted applications within approximately one month.
  3. Phase 3 (May 5–31): Organizing grievance resolution camps across the region.

This multi-phase initiative stands as a robust platform for transparent, responsive governance, especially benefiting marginalized and rural communities.
