Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing the inaugural session of the 7th Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Gramin Mazdoor Mahasangh, stated that all problems faced by the labour community will be addressed through coordinated efforts in Bhopal across various departments. The government will leave no stone unturned to ensure the welfare of tribal brothers and sisters, along with all other sections of society.

Dr. Yadav mentioned that the government has facilitated the payment of Rs 224 crore in pending dues for 4,800 workers of Hukumchand Mill in Indore. Similarly, pending dues of workers from Sajjan Mill in Ratlam will also be cleared soon. To boost industrial investment and employment generation, regional industry conclaves have been organised at the divisional level. The 9th Global Investors Summit was held in Bhopal, where Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah participated, further promoting industrial growth and employment in the state.

He also announced that industrialists establishing employment-generating enterprises in the state would be provided land, subsidies of up to 70%, and concessions on electricity bills.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the slogan of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh: “We will work in the national interest, and will be paid fairly for it.” He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that workers serving national interests receive their due rights. A scheme is being prepared to provide ₹5,000 per month as ex-gratia to textile industry workers.

He announced that tribal workers from Alirajpur, who migrate to work in diamond factories in Surat, Gujarat, will soon be able to find employment locally as the state government plans to establish a diamond factory in Alirajpur itself.

For emergency medical situations, air ambulance services will be provided to transport poor and labour-class patients to better healthcare facilities. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, treatment is also available in private hospitals for the underprivileged.

Dr. Yadav said that medical colleges would be opened in the Dhar and Jhabua districts to ensure better healthcare and educational infrastructure in tribal regions. The government is working with priority for poor women, farmers, and youth. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Unnayan Yojana, skill development and financial assistance are being provided to artisans, masons, carpenters, and other working classes to help them establish self-employment.

The Sambal Yojana is being implemented for the welfare of labourers. He urged all labourers to get themselves registered under the scheme. Benefits under health, education, housing, and ex-gratia compensation in case of accidental death of a family member are being provided. So far, 4.92 lakh workers have been registered under Sambal Yojana in the Ratlam district. A re-survey will be conducted to identify the remaining eligible beneficiaries who will be provided with permanent housing. The government is also providing cycles, study material, uniforms, and fee waivers to children for school education.

For the upliftment of farmers, the government’s priority is to ensure water and electricity reach every field. Under the Rani Durgavati Shri Anna Protsahan Yojana, farmers cultivating coarse grains like Kodo, Kutki, and Maize will receive a subsidy of ₹1,000 per quintal.

On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana is being launched, under which milk procurement will be done from cattle rearers through cooperative societies. Financial aid will be provided to those rearing more than 25 cows or buffaloes under this scheme, which promotes dairy production through a cooperative model.
