Retired Officers and Employees of Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran Should Immediately Receive Their Pension and Other Outstanding Dues – Minister of State Meghna Sakore-Bordikar
Mumbai : Minister of State for Water Supply and Sanitation, Mrs. Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, has directed that the pension and other outstanding dues of retired officers and employees of Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran be distributed immediately.
She was speaking at a meeting organized at Nirmal Bhavan, addressing various demands of the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran Officers and Employees Association. During the meeting, Abhishek Krishna, Secretary of Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, and Sitaram Kale, Director of the Finance Department, along with other officers from Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran and the Finance Department, were present.
Minister Mrs. Sakore-Bordikar stated that the necessary funds are available and should be distributed immediately. The government is positive about the welfare of retired officers and employees. She also mentioned that issues related to the implementation of the Pay Commission will be brought to the attention of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and appropriate decisions will be taken soon. Additionally, she emphasized that it is crucial to clear the dues of retired officers and employees who are over 80 and 90 years old, and positive decisions will be made regarding this as well.
The meeting was attended by the officials of the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran Retired Officers and Employees Association.
